Being a visitor or member to iPlaySims binds you to the following terms and conditions. You will use our community as is and not do anything that would violate our community rules.
The content of iPlaySims is provided to you as general information and for general use only. We do not guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of the information presented to you, but we do try our best. By being a member of the community you have access to many different features and we ask that you do not abuse them. It is your responsibility to make sure you are using the features properly. Any information you provide with us or the materials you use are at your own risk.
We will not be held responsible for damage to your game due to something you got from our site. We do however take protective measure to ensure nothing happens to your game with content provided on our website. If you find content that you believe caused damage to your game please handle it with a staff member.
Our website contains materials that are owned by us. The design, logo, colors, iPlaySims name, ideas, and images are all owned by iPlaySims. Reproduction is prohibited. Failure to comply with this and reproduce without proper permission will result in legal action against your party. This also includes member created content as it is owned by them and we value our members and their property. All trademarks used around this website related to Electronic Arts, The Sims, and its licensors are all owned by their respected owners. It is noted in both footers on the homepage and community forum.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy gives details on how iPlaySims protects the information you provide.
iPlaySims does ask for certain information during the registration process to which we can identify you. Your username, email, and password are all required fields. Any other information you provide after registration such as birthday is also protected. We have put in place several rules and guidelines to which you shall follow including the sharing of personal information and information of others. You can find more information in our forums rules.
In order to prevent unauthorized access to information you may provide to us, we have put in place many safeguards to ensure information is kept within the community. We will not sell or redistribute any of your information to other websites, advertising companies, or other third parties.
iPlaySims will place a cookie on your computer but this is used for providing a service to you and is not used to collect information about you or your computer. The cookie is used to keep track of items you have read on our forum and your credentials if you chose to be logged in automatically or remembered. The cookie will not cause harm to your computer, and you can choose to accept or decline based on your web browser settings. Please note that this may affect how features work for you on iPlaySims.
We also link to other websites which are considered our affiliates are not endorsed by us. What happens on those websites and the information you provide or services you use from them are totally in their control and we will not be held responsible for other websites actions.
Donation Policy
iPlaySims is completely free Simming site and will remain that way. While the server and software costs money to us we are sharing it with you. We do accept donations to cover the costs of the server and software but you do not need to donate. Donating is completely optional and you do not have to donate to iPlaySims to become a member.

Donations will only be used, when accepted, for covering the cost of the server and software and not for personal use.
